24th Annual WIMBIZ Conference to Inspire Women to Take Ownership of Leadership

The Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) has announced the theme for its highly anticipated 24th Annual Conference, set to take place on November 6–7, 2025, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.

With the theme, “O.W.N – Own. Walk. Nurture,” this year’s edition seeks to inspire women across Africa to take ownership of their leadership journeys, walk with authenticity, and nurture the next generation of leaders.

According to WIMBIZ Executive Director, Omowunmi Akingbohungbe, the theme underscores the organisation’s commitment to fostering resilience, influence, and community values among women leaders.

> “At WIMBIZ, we believe that women have the power to shape economies, societies, and futures. This year’s theme is a clarion call for women to embrace their power, walk their path with courage, and nurture others along the way,” Akingbohungbe stated.

The conference will bring together over 2,000 women leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals from Nigeria, Africa, and beyond. Attendees can expect keynote addresses, panel discussions, masterclasses, and networking opportunities designed to empower women to lead with confidence and drive meaningful change.

Recognised as one of Africa’s largest gatherings of women in leadership, the WIMBIZ Annual Conference has, over the years, sparked crucial conversations and advanced women’s representation in business, politics, and society.
